For two centuries the town of Sant Lluís lived off its three windmills, as all the farmers in the vicinity would use them to grind their grain. There is evidence to show that the largest, el Molí d’Enmig, existed in 1776 and that el Molí de Baix was built in 1780. The Molí de Dalt is the only one left now and, recently restored, a great source of pride to the town. It is painted white and blue, with this pale tone blending with the sky.
